The southern slope of horseshoe-shaped Geomeun Oreum is quite steep. Al Oreum is nearby. Kudzu grows in the crater, while silk, linden, and cedar trees also grow on the oreum.
In January, April, and July ~ December, Udo Island is a perfect place for fishing. The depth of the water is about 20~30m and many kinds of fish including rock sea-bream and red sea-bream are abundant. Key fishing area are the seas off Dongchenjindong, Seocheonjindong, Sanghaumokdong and around Biyangdo Island and Juganmyeongwol.
